NATS Annual Day Social Mixer and Holiday Party in Bay Area


Bay Area, CA: North American Telugu Society (NATS) with the help of local service organizations in Bay Area organized an Annual Day and Holiday party cum Social Mixer on 15th Dec 2013 at Athidhi Indian Cuisine at 5.30 PM. More than 200 people attended and enjoyed the party and also derived immense benefits of these complimentary lectures.



In view of this Social Mixer, NATS local chapter arranged community benefiting lectures by Rachna on Health Tips and how to be fit for long hours for IT engineers and also another lecture by Laddi Jhuty for NRI wealth management. Both have them explained the challenges met by NRIs for health and wealth management. People have enjoyed the lectures by attentive hearing.

NATS Bay Area In-charge and VP Sri Sam Jagarlamudi took other organizations like NRIVA, TCA help and coordinated this kind of community benefiting program for the second time in Bay Area on the occasion of NATS Annual day . He said NATS will conduct this kind of community programs at regular intervals to support progression of community members in bay area.

Sam Jagarlamudi along with NATS local team: Raja Jakilati, Suman Bhargava, Rani Davuluri, Nageswara Rao Soma have also did membership drive for NATS.

Sri Vijay Chavva, a well-known NRI of Bay area who supported the event and also NATS initiatives has welcomed the delegates and given opening remarks and appreciated NATS and Sam's initiatives and reaching the community. He re-iterated his support for NATS and any other social events by Telugu Organizations.

Sam Jagarlamudi who is the NATS Bay Area In charge while speaking to the audience has promised to build an excellent and wonderful organization for NATS local chapter and also do community service through the programs like free medical camps, educational assistance. he also explained NATS service levels in INDIA and USA. He requested help from the participants to come forward and support NATS initiatives. He has also appreciated Sri Vijay Chavva and his thought process of community service. He also deeply appreciated Sri Vijay Chavva for supporting NATS initiatives in bay area and thanked for standing as the main pillar.

Suresh Katta a prominent business man from Bay Area along with local NATS team consisting of Rani Davuluri, Raja Jakilati, Suman Bhargava, Nageswara Rao Soma, Kishore and NRIVA team Krishna Yelishetty, Ravichandra Anantha honored Sri Sam for getting elected a NATS VP and for coming forward to serve the Telugu community in Bay Area.

Participants who heavily participated in these highly interactive sessions of guest lectures were very much impressed and requested to continue community benefiting lectures at least once in quarter apart from NATS free medical programs, blood donation camps and other social activities.

The classical dance performed by Shreya Soma has received appreciation from all corners.

Raja Jakilati while conveying vote of thanks said this kind of community development programs go long way in memory and help society in a big way.
