Dr. Prem Reddy donates 100k to YSR Foundation
Los Angeles, USA: Well known Telugu community leader and Philanthropist Dr. Prem Reddy made a donation of $101,116 to Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Foundation (USA). Purpose of these funds is to organize screening camps and perform several minor and major surgeries for the hearing impaired kids in Andhra Pradesh.
SAHI ' Society to Aid the Hearing Impaired http://www.sahiearcare.org is an Indian NGO that strives to help poor children with hearing impairment. SAHI has been organizing screening camps and helping the deaf kids for more than 10 years. Dr. YSR Foundation (USA) is partnering with SAHI and SAHI will organize screening camps in several districts of AP and identify the needy kids and perform the surgeries. The society seeks to identify children mainly in rural areas with little or no access to modern medical treatment.
Dr. Prem Reddy also announced Dollar-to-Dollar match program for charitable cause in Andhra Pradesh through Dr. YSR Foundation. The focused areas are to setup Water Treatment plants and Health Camps.
