Cupertino recognizes June 2nd as Telangana Day San Francisco, California: A prominent well known city from Silicon Valley in United States will be celebrating Telangana Proclamation Day.
City of Cupertino where Apple Computers (Iphone/Ipad maker) and several other tech giants are headquartered decided to recognize June 2nd, the actual Telangana Formation Day as Telangana Day the new and 29th state of Indian Republic.
The city called for council meeting on 2nd June and will be recognizing day as "Telangana Formation Day". Indian Council General Sri Partha Sarathy will be attending the city event to receive proclamation on Indian Govt behalf from Cupertino City Mayor Gilbert Wong.
The Telangana Cultural Association which is also formed and located in this Silicon Valley city will be facilitating the event as per founder chairman Vijay Chavva. TCA also will be helping to fill the gap between different Telugu Orgs and regions and work towards the unity of Telugus in United states. He claims Telangana formation is not a separation but identity and recognition of a culture. Telugus will remain as a strong community and keep serving the great countries like united states under different cultural identities with fully respecting land and cultural traditions of USA.
The Telangana Cultural Association which is formed to preserve and promote centuries old rich Telangana Culture conducts several events including Bathukamma Festivals in Sillicon valley USA.
