NTR International Award to Dr. M.S.Reddy

Houston: The prestigious NTR International Award has been awarded to the biotech entrepreneur and cheese king Dr. M.S. Reddy (Malireddy Srinivasulu Reddy). The NTR International Award is instituted in honor of Dr. N.T. Ramarao, an icon of Telugu films and former AP chief minister. It is popular lifetime recognition and the highest honor of achievement given to popular Telugu persons worldwide. Dr. Reddy has been selected for 2014 award on the basis of scientific and entrepreneurial excellence as exemplified by an international recognition for his contributions in the field of food technology and pollution mitigation strategies that have a substantial impact in the environment field.

The award was presented at the NATA Board meeting in Houston. 'We are honored to bestow the NTR award to such luminary as Dr. M.S. Reddy who has been nominated for Nobel Prize that shows his unique contributions', said Smt. Laxmi Parvathi, the widow of late NTR. Speaking from Hyderabad over the phone, she conveyed her congratulations to Dr. Reddy and appreciated the NATA team for presenting the award on her behalf. She thanked the Dallas cardiologist Dr. Srinivas Alla for orchestrating the presentation and expressed gratitude towards the Telugu stalwarts Dr. Prem Reddy and Dr. Malla Reddy for presentations.

Dr. Reddy is a proud nominee in good standing for 2015 Nobel Peace Prize. He is competing for this award with few of the world's famous persons. Dr. M.S. Reddy currently serves as Chairman and President of USA based American Dairy and Food Consulting Laboratories, and International Media and Cultures with twelve manufacturing facilities in eight states. He is a popular speaker and gave hundreds of seminars worldwide. His recent seminar on 'How to become a Billionaire Businessman' was a big hit over the YouTube. In 2011, he has been conferred the title 'Nobel Billionaire' as the culmination of his highest scientific knowledge (Saraswathi puthrudu) and creating such big wealth (Laxmi puthrudu). This is a unique title illustrating his knowledge and entrepreneurial accomplishments.

Dr. Reddy has received over 130 awards and honors in scientific research, community service, and entrepreneurship during the past 30 years. Previously he has received the Richard Hoyt award, Sigma-Xi Research award, President Ronald Regan Gold Medal, NATA and ATA's Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to business and technology. He published over 80 scientific papers. In 2012, he received the NATA Lifetime Achievement award for 'his pioneering work on the highly scientific biotechnology-based cultures and ingredients, which has had a profound impact on improving the dairy and food technology-based products-worldwide.

NATA also presented a Lifetime Achievement Award in Business to Syama Reddy, wife of Dr.M.S.Reddy for her entrepreneur excellence.
