Elaborate arrangements in place for TS EAMCET Hyderabad, May 14 (INN): Elaborate arrangements are in place for the conduct of Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Entrance Test (EAMCET - 2016) across the Telangana State on Sunday.
According to EAMCET convener Dr. N.V. Ramana Rao, no student would be allowed inside the examination hall if he or she is late even by a minute.
A total of 246,587 students have downloaded their hall tickets online. They include 143,513 candidates for Engineering and 101,016 for Agriculture & Medicine streams. As many as 1029 candidates are appearing for both the streams.
The TS EAMCET-2016 examination will be conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM for Engineering stream and from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM for Agriculture & Medical (AM) stream.
The authorities, on May 12, had clarified that admission for MBBS and BDS will be made based on merit of NEET examination 2016, as per orders of the Supreme Court of India and based on the clarification provided by the Health, Medical and Family Welfare (C1) Department, Govt. of Telangana.
However, the candidates may appear for the TS EAMCET-2016 for AM stream on Sunday to take admission into the following courses: 1. B.Sc.(Ag.) / B.Sc.(Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA&BM); 2. BAMS / BHMS / BNYS; 3. B.Pharm. / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) or 4. Pharm-D (Bi.P.C).
The RTC will be operating over 1,000 buses for convenience of EAMCET candidates.
