BJP's dharna on drought situation
Hyderabad, May 16 (INN): Telangana BJP is conducting a day-long dharna against the alleged failure of TRS Government in dealing with the drought situation in the State.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, BJP MLA NVSS Prabhakar informed that the dharna would be held at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park from 12 noon on wards. He said that Telangana BJP President Dr. K. Lakshman would lead the dharna while all MLAs, MLCs, office bearers and leaders would participate in it.
Prabhakar alleged that the TRS Government has totally failed to handle the drought situation and extended no relief to the affected farmers. He said that the State Government has also failed to spend the Central assistance sanctioned by the BJP-led NDA Government.
