KTR assures to resolve energy issues Hyderabad, May 17 (INN): Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Tuesday said that the State Government was implementing a comprehensive plan to resolve the issues concerning energy department.
KTR said that the State Government was constructing new sub-stations at a cost of Rs. 2,400 crore to overcome the issue of low-voltage. He said one 33/11 KV sub-station would be established for a unit of two villages in the State.
KTR, along with Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy had laid the foundation stone for several developmental works in Mastabad of Karimngar district. Addressing a meeting after inaugurating Boys' Hostel in Mastabad, KTR said that the TRS Government has proved all speculations wrong by overcoming the energy crisis in the new State of Telangana.
KTR also claimed that the State Government has resolved crisis related to power supply, water, fodder, seeds and fertilizers. He said that the State Government has waived off crop loans of Rs. 17,000 crore.
Later, KTR laid the foundation stone for a driving school in Mandapally of Sircilla mandal. Transport Minister P. Mahender Reddy, Lok Sabha MP Vinod Kumar, MLC N. Lakshman Rao and other officials were also present.
