Aruna demands Gadwal as new district Hyderabad, May 17 (INN): Congress senior leader and former minister D.K. Aruna on Tuesday met Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma and demanded that Gadwal in Mahabubnagar district be created as a new district.
Speaking to media persons later, Aruna said that that the State Government should create new districts on scientific manner instead of political grounds. She said since several representations were being made for creation of new districts, she has also made representation for creation of Gadwal district. She said that the new districts should acceptable to the local people.
Aruna said that she would soon meet Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to press for her demand.
