Separate test for medical admissions Hyderabad, May 20 (INN): Thanking the Central Government for its decision to defer NEET for admission into medical colleges this year, Telangana Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy informed that the State Government would conduct a separate entrance test for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Dr. Lakshma Reddy welcomed the Central Government's ordinance deferring the NEET for this year's admission. He said this decision would benefit thousands of students of Telangana as they had already prepared for EAMCET.
The minister said that the State Government would bring required changes in the syllabus so as to enable the Telangana students to appear for NEET from next year onwards.
