Mallu Ravi warns Komatireddy of disciplinary action Hyderabad, June 4 (INN): TPCC Vice-President Dr. Mallu Ravi on Saturday said that the Congress party would take a serious view of the statement made by Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy against TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here, Mallu Ravi said that instead of raising the issue in party forum, Komatireddy went public against the TPCC President which is a clear violation of Congress policy. He said that the party's Disciplinary Action Committee would review the issue and send its recommendation to the Congress High Command. He said Komatireddy's statement was part of a larger conspiracy to weaken the Congress party in the State. He said Uttam Kumar Reddy has been trying hard to suppress groupism and strengthen the party in the State. However, some leaders are targeting him for personal gains, he alleged.
Reacting to the criticism by Balka Suman against former union minister S. Jaipal Reddy, he said that the TRS MP's use of language was bad in taste. He said Balka Suman was too small to comment on Jaipal Reddy who is a senior Parliamentarian and used as reference in more than 10 countries. He said there might be different political ideologies. But TRS leaders were resorting to personal attacks only to suppress the truth, he said.
