Uttam asks cadre to enter agitation mode Hyderabad, June 15 (INN): TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday asked the Congress workers to enter the agitation mode to protest against "anti-people policies" of TRS Government.
Speaking to media persons after TPCC Coordination Committee meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Nalgonda MP Sukhender Reddy, Miryalguda MLA Bhaskar Rao and CPI MLA Ravinder Kumar Naik should resign from their posts as they have joined the TRS. He said it was a highly shameful act and showed no concern for no morality.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the TPCC would constitute Mandal-level committees by 30th June and Gram Panchayat level committees by 30th July. He said booth-level committees would be constituted in the month of August. He said training classes would be held for Sarpanches, MPTC and ZPTC members next month. He said that the Congress party would organise strong agitation against land acquisitions for Mallana Sagar project.
He said that the TPCC office bearers meeting would be held on Thursday to discuss the future strategy.
