Rs 250 Crore for state schools: Kadiam Medak, June 21 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said that the state government was committed to improve the quality of education in schools across Telangana State.
Addressing a review meeting of the education department at the Sangareddy ZP Hall here on Tuesday, Kadiyam said that the State Government has sanctioned Rs 250 crore to improve the facilities at state-run education institutions. He directed the education department officials to make efforts to improve students strength in government junior colleges and schools. ' The state government is committed to provide quality education and the parents have to be taken into confidence on this commitment by the state,' he said.
Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy, Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao, MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, DEO and MEOs were also present in the meeting.
