Mudragada Goes Teary Eyed Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham who has been on a fast for the past 14 days demanding the release of the 13 Kapu leaders arrested in connection with the Tuni violence ends fast at his home turf of Kirlampudi in East Godavari district.
Mudragada addressed maid and went teary eyed when talking about women at his home who were ill treated by cops. The senior former Minister said that police used cuss words to his wife, daughter-in-law and wife's brother and others. "They thrashed my son and used cuss words against my daughter-in-law," Mudragada said
Mudragada turned emotional and said his father was a two-time MLA, while he himself was a four-time MLA, twice Minister and one-time MP. "Yet, the very police, whom I fed many a time, had misbehaved with me and my family members," he said. Mudragaada says he will continue to fight for Kapus under the leadership of the Kapu Joint Action Committee.
