High-level committee to prepare draft for new districts Hyderabad, June 22 (INN): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has decided to constitute a high-level committee to study the proposal for constitution of new districts in Telangana State.
According to sources, the committee would be headed by Chief Commissioner of Land Administration. Principal Secretaries of Revenue and Finance Departments will be the other two members. The committee would prepare a detailed draft on the new proposed districts. The draft would be kept in public domain for public review. The State Government would then convene an all all-party meeting to discuss and finalise the proposal.
The Telangana Government is likely to finalise the new districts by July 10, sources added.
