Jana says he's in CM's race
Nalgonda, June 24 (INN): In a surprise move, Telangana Congress Legislature Party leader and former minister K. Jana Reddy said that he would be the Chief Ministerial candidate if the Congress wrests power in Telangana in 2019 Assembly elections.
Addressing party works at Halia in Nalgonda district on Saturday, Jan Reddy said that he was confident that the Congress would win Assembly elections in Telangana and that he would be the CM candidate. He said that it was Congress who strove for the nation's independence and also for the statehood for Telangana. He took potshot at the ruling TRS saying that it failed to live up to the aspiration of the people of the state. Only Congress could provide good governance as it committed for the welfare of the masses, he said.
