YSRCP TS chief held Hyderabad, Aug 20 (INN): YSRC Telangana chief G Srikanth Reddy was on Saturday arrested when he tried to stage a protest on being not invited to the all party meet on the creation of new districts.
Srikanth Reddy, along with party activists, landed at Liberty and paid tributes to Dr. Ambedkar's statue. Later when they tried to stage a protest, the police bundled them in their vehicles and shifted to various police stations. He was taken to a private medical hospital.
Speaking to media, Srikanth Reddy said that the TRS government creating new districts only for the political benefits. He ridiculed the state government for having not invited the YSR Congress for the all party meet.
