AP to felicitate Sindhu, Gopichand on Tuesday
Vijayawada, Aug 22 (INN): After a rousing reception by the Telangana government at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh government will felicitate badminton player Sindhu and her coach Gopichand.
The player-coach duo would be felicitated in a meeting at the municipal stadium here on Tuesday morning. AP chief minister Chandrababu will also attend the meeting along with his cabinet colleagues, sources said.
AP Government had announced Rs 3 crore cash and house site and Group-I job to the badminton player.
