Agri-sector in doldrums in AP: YSRCP
Hyderabad, Dec 23 (INN): The YSR Congress Party on Friday alleged that the TD government was being indifferent towards the issues of farmers and added that the farm sector has badly hit due to government's negligence. The farm sector is in doldrums, the party observed.
Speaking to media persons here YSRCP spokesperson Botsa Satyanarayana said that the Chief Minister failed to discuss the farm sector during the recently held collectors conference. He said that the government has failed in tackling the issues faced by the farmers. He said that sowing operations in the Rabi season has drastically fell but the government took no efforts to assuage the situation. He said that the sowing fell from 14 lakh hectares previously to 9 lakh hectare this year.
