Amaravati will be a Free Zone: Naidu Kurnool, Jan 2 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday announced that the Amaravati Capital Region would be declared Free Zone, a move that would bring joy to lakhs of unemployed youth in the state.
Speaking at a public meeting in the district, Chandrababu Naidu said that the people from all districts of AP could compete for the state jobs in Amaravati.
AP has four zones at present as per Article 371-D of the Constitution.
Babu's announcement certainly eases the concern being expressed by the people from backward North Andhra and Rayalaseema areas.
