PM to inaugurate Science Congress at Tirupati Hyderabad, Jan 2 (INN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Indian Science Congress at Sri Venkateshwara University in Tirupati on Tuesday.
ISC President Prof. Narayana Rao informed that the main event would be held at university's Srinivasa Auditorium where eminent personalities including the Prime Minister, famous scientists including Noble laureates will deliver their speeches. Nearly 14,000 scientists and scholars are expected to participate in the 5-day event. He informed that after inaugurating the ISC, the Prime Minister would hold an interactive meeting with 50 select personalities.
The Prime Minister will perform pooja at Tirupati Temple in the afternoon.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders will accompany the Prime Minister during his six-hour long tour of Tirupati. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister's visit.
