Govt successfully dealt with power crisis: Harish Rao Siddipet, Jan 7 (INN): Minister for Irrigation Harish Rao on Saturday said that the TRS government has efficiently dealt with the power crisis in the state after coming to power.
Speaking at a programme in Rangadampally in Siddipet district after inaugurating 33/11 KV sub-station, Harish Rao said that the KCR government took various initiatives to strengthen power infrastructure in the state and successfully overcame the power shortage issue. He said that few more sub-stations would be set up in the district in a couple of weeks.
Harish Rao said that Chief Minister has waived off Rs 12,000 crore pending power bills in the state which is a historic move aimed at benefitting poor. He said that the government was providing nine hour power supply to the farmers. The minister said that the state government has signed a pact with the Centre under UDAY scheme which will help the state in the long run.
