OU Alumni Association donates Rs. 25 Lakh
Hyderabad, Feb 1 (INN): The Osmania University Alumni Association has donated a sum of Rs. 25.00 lakhs (Rupees twenty five lakhs only) to Osmania University on the occasion of centenary celebrations. The cheque has been handed over to OU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram.
OU Centenary Celebrations Alumni Committee met today at Osmania University and discussed various activities and programmes to be taken up during the centenary celebrations. The Alumni Association decided to meet regularly.
OU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram thanked the Alumni Committee for evincing keen interest in the upcoming centenary celebrations and supporting the University wholeheartedly. He welcomed their gesture and hoped that they would continue do so to make the celebrations a grand success.
OU Registrar Prof. Ch. Gopal Reddy, OSD to VC Prof. R. Limbadri, Special Officer, OU Centenary Celebrations Prof. H. Venkateshwarlu, Alumni Committee Coordinator Prof. P. Laxminarayana, OU Centenary Celebrations Alumni Committee Chairman A. Shyam Mohan, Co-Chairman Guduru Satyanaryana and R. Ramesh Reddy, Convener Prof. D. Manohar Rao and others participated.
