San Francisco: It was a festive moment for Telugus in Bay area on Thursday morning at San Francisco airport as they received their leader and Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu. Though the Air India flight brought the CM and team 2 hours late, several enthusiastic people from NRI TDP, Bay Area, AP JanmaBhumi, AP NRT wings assembled in SFO airport with flower bouquets and yellow Kanduvas.
Speaking on this Sri Jayaram Komati, AP's Resident Representative for North America said that all are very excited to receive Chandrababu Naidu in Bay area and entire community is wishing that CM's USA Visit should be fruitful and give the results. He also said that people are waiting to meet the CM on the Community dinner planned on the night of Sunday, 7 May 2017.
The people who came from various parts of USA include Mr Satish Vemana, President Elect , TANA, Washington DC and Mr K C Chekuri, Dallas, Mr Chandu Gorrepati, Charlotte, Mr Raja Surapaneni, St Louis, Mr Raghu, Virginia, Prasad Garapati , Subba Row Chennuri ( India) and they all came to welcome the CM.
Bay Area community people like Venkat Koganti, Madhu Ravela, Rajanikanth Kakarla, Ram Thota (from NRI TDP), Vijaya Aasuri, Sailaja Bathula, Prasad Mangina, Karun Veligeti ( BATA), Raju Chamarthi, Deenababu Kondalbolu, Nirupama Chebyam ( Siliconandhra ), Bhakata Bhalla, Subba Yantra, Krishna Mohan and others various other organisations. Sri Kuchibhotla Anand, Chairman, Kuchipudi Natyaramam, AP Govt has also come to receive CM.
Entire airport glittered with yellow color as many men came wearing yellow color shirt and Yellow kanduvas, women came wearing yellow color sarees marking their love for their leader and party.
'Jai Chandrabbau' slogans were in the air as the beloved leader Sri Chandrababu Naidu entered the lounge and Mr Jayaram Komati received him with a bouquet and yellow Kanduva and several others followed with bouquets. Sri Chandrababu greeted every one for more than 30 mts with broad smile and cheerfulness.
Speaking on this occasion Sri Chandrababu said that he is very happy with the over whelming response he receives from NRI community and he thank them for their love and affection. He came to USA to meet several IT company CEOs on one side, and finalizing Sister State relationships etc on another side.
Sri Venkatesan Ashok, Counsel General of India, San Francisco welcomed Sri Chandra babu Naidu on behalf of Indian Govt and as a Protocol. CM was accompanied by Sri Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Finance Minister, Sri J Krishna Kishore, CEO, Economic Development Board, Sri Parakala Prabhakar, Media Adviser, Sri Ravi Vemuru, Chairman, APNRT and other officers. Sri JA Chowdary, IT Adviser and Sri Vijayanand, Secretary, IT &C reached Bay Area two days earlier to firm up CM's tour program and the arrangements.
