TCL to Invest 2200 Crore in Tirupati
Amaravati: Global Electronics leader TCL is coming to Tirupati to create 8000 jobs with 2200 Crore Investment. CM will perform the Bhumi Puja on 20th December, Nara Lokesh has announced.
Andhra Pradesh has successfully wooed electronics major TCL to set up its shop in the state. The global electronics leader TCL is coming up with an investment of Rs 2200 crore to open the manufacturing unit in Tirupati. Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, TCL chairman LI Dongsheng, IT minister Nara Lokesh would be performing the Bhumi Puja in Tirupati on December, 20. "This reflects the confidence of the investors' mostly global famed firms in the initiatives of the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu," claimed IT minister Lokesh.
The TCL unit is coming up in 153-acre land in electronics cluster located close to the Tirupati town. The TCL, the world's third biggest TV panels making firm, is expected to generate about 8000 jobs in the new manufacturing unit in Tirupati. The company has readied plans to make around 60 lakh Television panels from the new unit.
