KCR Seeks Amendments in EBC Quota Hyderabad, Jan 8 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the TRS MPs to request for the amendments in the Bill of providing 10 % reservations to the EBCs which is introduced by the Union Government in the Parliament.
The Chief Minister said that the Telangana Legislative Assembly has made a resolution of providing 12% reservations for backward Muslims and 10% reservations for STs and sent to Union Government. This resolution should be introduced in the Parliament. As the union government has decided to take the issue of reservations and asked the MPs to raise the issue of providing reservation to the backward Muslims and STs.
