88.26% in 2nd phase of Panchayat Elections
Hyderabad, Jan 25 (INN): About 88.26% of 42,79,277 voters exercised their franchise in the second phase of polling in Panchayat Raj elections held across Telangana State on Friday.
While the percentage of polling among women voters was 88.85%, it was 87.67% among men.
According to Election Commission of India, a total of 37,76,797 voters have cast their vote in the ordinary elections to Gram Panchayats.
