Daggubati and Son meets Jagan Hyderabad, Jan 27: Former MLA and NTR's son-in-law Daggubati Venkateswara Rao today met YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his son Hitesh, who will be joining the Party very soon.

Speaking to media after the meeting, Venkateswara Rao said that he had come with his son and met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his sibling would be working in the Party.
Praising the leadership of YSRCP, he said that it is very difficult to run the Party up-keeping high morals and he is impressed with his style of functioning.

The TDP governance has run out off the track with Chandrababu Naidu holding deekshas, (party programmes) with government money. Nowhere is such a fallacy allowed and it is ridiculous. The Government has been giving post-dated cheques to DWACRA groups ahead of the general elections, which is unethical and unfair, he said.
When asked if he has been assured of Parachuru seat, he said, 'it will be the Party decision and his son will abide by whatever the Party says.'
His wife Purandeswari's continuance in BJP will not hinder the prospects of his son as it was a conscious decision taken and if need be, she may quit politics. As of now there is no such eventuality and there is no pressure from any side.
Being in public life for long and for a person who served as Union Minister, it would be seen as a hurdle to the kin's progress but if the situation demands we can think of it, he said.
