Lokesh met Central Ministers on Dues
New Delhi, January 30: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Development and Information Technology Nara Lokesh along with several MPs met Central Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Central Minister for State for Water Resources Arjun Ram Meghwal on Wednesday.
Lokesh requested the Center to release funds that are pending under various programs and schemes. Tomar assured Lokesh to release the wage dues of 175 crore immediately today. He also assured to release 150 crore in the form of wages and 200 crore in the form of materials.
Ex Central Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Sita Rama Lakshmi, Maganti Babu, Galla Jayadev, CM Ramesh, Ravindra Babu, Kanakamedala Ravindra Nath, Government Special Representative Kambhampati Rama Mohan Rao, Special Chief Secretary Dr. Jawahar Reddy, AP Bhavan Resident Commissioner Praveen Prakash were also with Lokesh.
