Babu following Jagan, accuses YCP
Vijayawada, Feb 1st: YSR Congress party farmer wing leader MVS Nagireddy lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for following Jagan and copying the schemes in the last minute.
Talking to the media on Friday he said, Chandrababu has started new dramas as the elections are around the corner, as he has not fulfilled the promise of complete farm loan waiver.
YSRCP leader added, Chandrababu has not granted the input subsidies and many farmers in the state are committing suicide due to this. But in the governor's speech, it was said that there have been no farmer suicides in the state, which is an outright lie. MVS Nagireddy has suggested for Chandrababu to help the farmers.
He observed that the leader of the opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is setting up the agenda and Chandrababu is following it.
YSRCP leader remarked that Chandrababu has not implemented the given assurances but is announcing new assurances. He questioned Chandrababu if he can go for elections based on his current five-year term. Nagireddy added, Chandrababu claimed Navaratnalu cannot be implemented when they were announced by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and now he is implementing them.
