CM condemns Pediripadu incident Hyderabad, Feb 6 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao condemned the incident that took place in Pediripadu village of Maddur Mandal in Mahabubnagar District where the newly elected Sarpanch by name Balappa was made to sit on the floor while others were seated on the chairs.
He said it is a serious matter and the government will take steps to see that such incidents are not repeated in future.
The Chief Minister had an interactive session at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday with resource persons who would be imparting training to the newly elected Sarpanches and village secretaries.
Earlier, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, in his welcome address, asked the resource persons that while imparting training to Sarpanches they should see that they are transformed as change agents.
