Kalam's advisor Pon Raj in Janasena Hyderabad, February 7th: V Pon Raj, advisor for former President of India Sri Abdul Kalam, has been appointed as member of Advisory Council of Janasena Party. Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan announced that Pon Raj has given his consent to his request to serve as member of the Advisory Council of the party. Earlier, Pon Raj met Pawan Kalyan at the Central Office of the party on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said glad to announce that Sri Pon Raj consented to serve as member of advisory council of the party. He had served the country as an advisor to Abdul Kalam. His experience, suggestions and advices would help get economic development of the backward classes and weaker sections of the society. His valuable thoughts as a member of the advisory council would boost the overall development of the society, Pawan Kalyan said.
Pon Raj said Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan was a creative leader and he would definately take the State of Andhra Pradesh to the level of developed nations. 'I felt happy as Pawan Kalyan has a clear vision to develop the State and he has strong determination for achieving overall growth in Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan has a similar dream that Abdul Kalam has that youth must come to politics. I had a strong belief that Pawan Kalyan's political entry will bring a new era in AP politics as well as in Indian politics. I will serve the party as member of the advisory council, Sri Pon Raj said.
He further said there must be social perceptive to ensure integrated economic development. Every State has plenty of resources on par with developed nations. 'The AP State has young skilled manpower and resources, but it required a strong and committed leader to exploit these resources effectively. It was a need of the hour for the State to have a leader like Pawan Kalyan,' said Pon Raj.
Mission on the path of Abdul Kalam
Pon Raj is from Tamil Nadu, is a defense scientist and worked as technology interface director. He served as technical advisor to Abdul Kalam when he was the President of India. Though he was a defence scientist, Sri Pon Raj followed the footprints of Sri Abdul Kalam for two decades. He was making efforts to take the ideology of Sri Abdul Kalam to the younger generations and implementing his ideals in educational institutions. He strongly believes that politics could be cleansed only through the young leadership. He was striving hard on his mission for proper utilization of human power and developing the young people as skilled technocrats.
