Vijayawada, February 13th: Amaravati Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) released a list of projects that are coming up in the area. The projects include several International Schools, Hotels and a mega Convention Center.

Here is the list of 19 projects CRDA released on Wednesday:

1. Podar International School ' one of the most renowned names in the field of Education in India ' with 90+ years of experience in the field of Education and 100+ institutions across India ' Podar International School is developing a state-of-the-art campus in Amaravati in 'National Day School' Category across 3 Acres of land. It is launching its academic season in the year 2020.

2. Ryan International School ' Believing in imparting 'Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, Social and Moral Values' as the core principles, Ryan International Group has over the years evolved into a premiere educational institution, and is all set to open a contemporary 4-acre international school campus in Amaravati, starting academic sessions in 2020.

3. The Glendale Malaxmi International School ' Glendale Academy, that has always strived for an all-round development of children and 'Value based Education' is opening its expansive 8-acre 'International Boarding school' campus in Amaravati. Backed by The Malaxmi Group, a state-of-the-art campus of Glendale International school would be an iconic knowledge hub within Amaravati

4. Global Indian International School ' Having 20+ campuses across 7 countries, GIIS from Singapore ' truly an Indian International school, and the latest addition in its portfolio of institutions would be an ultra-modern 'International Day school' across 4 acres at Amaravati, bringing world-class educational excellence to the capital city of Andhra Pradesh

5. Holiday Inn Amaravati (4-star Hotel) ' Manjeera Hospitality (Amaravati) Private Limited is bringing to Amaravati one of the most renowned international brands 'Holiday Inn' of the InterContinental Hotels Group. A 150-keys upscale hotel over 2 acres would be completed in 2021 in the heart of Amaravati Capital City near Amaravati Government Complex

6. GreenPark Amaravati (4-star Hotel) ' GreenPark Hotels & Resorts Limited is getting its 25+ years of high-class hotel-experience to Amaravati enhancing the city's hospitality landscape. GreenPark will soon be starting construction of its 150-key 4-star hotel over 2 acres land in Amaravati.

7. Grand By GRT Hotels (4-star Hotel) ' 'Sophisticated, chic & contemporary' that's how one would define the hospitality experience GRT offers ' with its already existing wide presence in South India, GRT Group is expanding its presence with a 150-keys upscale hotel over 2 acres land in Amaravati Capital City, that is expected to be operational in the year 2021.

8. Hotel Daspalla Amaravati (4-Star Hotel) ' a household name in the hospitality segment in Andhra Pradesh & Telengana, Daspalla Group is developing a 150-keys upmarket hotel in 2 acres land within Amaravati, that will suit the needs of luxury seekers and business travelers alike.

9. Fortune Murali Resort ' on the bank of the pristine River Krishna, a 100 key leisure resort cum wellness centre is being developed by Kandhari Hotels Pvt. Ltd. who is bringing one of India's finest hospitality giants to Amaravati in the form of ITC Hotels. This project is being executed on Private Public Partnership mode.

10. Novotel Varun Amaravati (5-Star Hotel) ' Varun Hospitality Private Limited, our hosts for the Happy Cities Summit 2019, are playing their part in Amaravati's development by bringing the global iconic brand in luxury-hospitality segment, 'Accor Hotels' Novotel' to the capital city ' it will be a 200-keys iconic hotel on Seed Access Road on 4-acre land in Amaravati.

11. Malaxmi Double Tree by Hilton (5-Star Hotel) ' Malaxmi Group is collaborating with the American multinational hospitality giant 'Hilton hotels' in developing a 200-keys 5-star luxury hospitality destination at Amaravati over an expanse of 4 acres; to be operational by 2021.

12. Crowne Plaza Amaravati (5-star Hotel) ' being developed by Indroyal Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd would be yet another hi-class 5-star luxurious hotel in Amaravati with 200-keys across a 4-acre land parcel. This massive brand of hotel from the InterContinental Hotels Group would definitely add to the brand value of Amaravati in hospitality space.

13. District Cooling System for Amaravati Government Complex ' National Central Cooling Company PJSC (Tabreed), the leading UAE-based international cooling provider, has entered into a 30 year concession for a contracted cooling capacity of 20,000 refrigeration tons (RTs) with Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) to build, own, operate and transfer India's first district cooling system in Amaravati ' the future capital of Andhra Pradesh. This will be Tabreed's first plant outside its GCC market, and the 1st Phase would be completed by March 2021.

14. Amaravati International Convention & Exhibition Center ' 'Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions' (MICE) ' a futuristic world-class MICE Hub consisting of one of the largest Convention centres in Asia (10,000 pax capacity), a massive exhibition space, a 5-star hotel along with other components is being developed in Amaravati on Private-Public Partnership model by Cybercity Builders & Developers Private Limited & Consortium. With a Project Cost of INR 535 Crores, this is the one of the largest private sector investment projects coming into Amaravati on PPP mode, showing the confidence investors have in the future potential of Amaravati to become the world's happiest & most livable city.

15. Gopichand Sports Excellence Centre ' One of India's finest Badminton champions of all-time and a celebrity coach of India's finest Badminton talents ' Padma Bhushan Sri. Pullela Gopichand is opening a world class state-of-the-art Badminton Academy and Sports Excellence Centre in Amaravati. We truly hope and wish that such best-in-class sporting facilities would make Amaravati a hub for producing world-class sports talent who would bring laurels to the nation.

16. Varun International Convention Centre ' a 2000-pax iconic convention center on PPP model with a Project Cost of INR 65 Crores coming in the heart of the capital city over 5 acres of leasehold land. This convention centre has been tendered out on 'Design Build Finance Operate Transfer (DBFOT)' mode. We really hope that the 2020 edition of Happy Cities Summit is hosted in a swanky new Convention Centre inside Amaravati being developed by Varun Group.

17. Riverbay City Capital Mall ' An Entertainment cum Retail complex over an expanse of 7 acres leasehold land tendered out by APCRDA on PPP mode, consists of components like Retail shopping space, Multiplex, Food court, Entertainment zone for kids, and open green healthy spaces, the first phase of which would be developed in 18 months. 18. Kosta Marina ' Being developed by Amaravati Kosta Marina and Club Pvt Ltd., Kosta Marina, on the bank of River Krishna in Amaravati, would be India's largest Marina project as well as APCRDA's first project tendered out on Private-Public Partnership basis. This world-class Marina would include a Training centre, water sports like Sailing and Powerboating and water-based adventure & tourism activities ' the Phase-1 of the project would be up & running by August-2019.

19. Amaravati HappyNest ' India's first residential township project developed by a Government body with 100% online sales on first-cum-first-serve basis ' a massive investor interest helped APCRDA to complete 100% sales within a flat 120 minutes of launch! HappyNest is a contemporary gated community with 1200 units of 2 and 3 BHK apartments and start-of-the-art amenities in the heart of Amaravati Capital City.
