Chandrababu should guard his tongue, YCP
Hyderabad, Feb 15: Taking strong objection to the remarks of Chandrababu Naidu against the Party President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress has said that the time has come for TDP to shut shop and he should guard his tongue.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, party Bapatla Parliament coordinator Nandigam Suresh said, 'Chandrababu has no moral right to comment on our leader and there is a yawning gap between the two on moral grounds as the TDP leader has been a known cheat who goes back on his word while our leader comes from a family that sticks to the stand taken.
The copycat that he is Chandrababu has even plagiarised our slogan Nammamu Babu ninnu nammam. (We will not believe you Babu) which shows the bankruptcy of TDP on all fronts. TDP leaders are coming to YSRCP in droves and have been telling that they have no belief in Chandrababu Naidu and have been terming him as a person who lacks vision, originality and the qualities to stick to one stand.
'He keeps on changing his stand and works for furthering his personal interests and the welfare of his coterie. He has to change his language, tone and tenor and he has no moral right to criticise our leader. He also lost face in his own Party which is the reason why people are leaving the party and by all means this could be the last elections for Chandababu,' he said.
During his term he has given over 600 promises and did not fulfil them. He should go to people and seek a mandate basing on his performance like what Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy did in 2009 but he is still adding to the list of unfulfilled promises which shows that he is an utter flop.
The coming days would see more and more leaders deserting TDP and Chandrababu will be left with nothing to boast about and seek votes, but for going for impracticable promises, he said.
