BJP team to meet GoM on Telangana Hyderabad, Oct 21(INN): The Bharatiya Jatana Party will submit a detailed report to Group of Minister (GoM) on Telangana listing out the issues concerning all three regions of Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation.
Talking to reporters here, BJP senior leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao said that the report would be submitted to the GoM on November 5. He said there will be separate list of demands for Telangana, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra region.
He said although the Rayalaseema and Andhra would be part of the same State, but both the regions would require separate attention. Similarly, Telangana State would have its own set of problems which needs to be addressed on priority.
Vidyasagar Rao said that the Resolutions or Bills in State Legislative Assembly under Article 371 could not block the formation of Telangana State.
However, he said that the Centre should hasten the process of Telangana formation without leaving any opportunity for others to delay or stop its formation.
The BJP leader also ridiculed the statement of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy that he would stop the "bifurcation typhoon". He said that the Chief Minister would be swept away under the AP's division process.
