Scientist accidentally consumes bathroom acid, dies Hyderabad, Oct 23 (INN): A 32-year-old scientist working with National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) died after he accidentally consumed bathroom acid.
According to Rajendranagar sub inspector K Kankaiah, the deceased, D Babu, consumed bathroom acid while mistaking it to be mouth wash on October 13 at his residence in Rajendra Nagar. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment where he died on Wednesday.
Kankaiah was a native of Salem district of Tamil Nadu. He has been staying in Rajendra Nagar since December 2009. Recently he got married on May 22 this year.
The body was handed over to the relatives after an autopsy was conducted at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary.
