Naidu unveils his vision at Finance Commission meet Tirupati, September 12: Unveiling a comprehensive vision exercise envisaged for the development of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu maintained that the government would ensure decentralised development of the State by balancing key aspects and focusing on strengths of various regions.

'The vision exercise has been formulated by synchronising the next three finance commissions and successive elections. 'We would focus on investing in sectors that would yield good dividends to the people and development of the State, especially the tourism and services sectors. Potential of the existing sea ports will also be tapped,' he added.
Mr. Naidu further elucidated upon the seven missions, five grid approaches and campaign programmes for the development of the State. The missions would be centred on primary, urban, industry, agriculture, services, skill upgradation and social empowerment whereas the grid approaches would focus on drinking water, roads, power, gas and fiber optic connectivity. In addition to this, campaign programmes such as 'Pedarikam Pai Gelupu', 'Polam Pilustondi', 'Badi Pilustondi', 'Neeru-Chettu' and 'Parisubhram- Aarogyam' would be undertaken for a comprehensive development of the state.
'Besides this, we will also focus on skill upgradation across the cross-section of society and on the protection and promotion of vulnerable sections. Other crucial elements such as development of backward regions, drought proofing, poverty elimination, education, health, encouragement for self-help groups will also be of prime importance,' he added.
