TS Govt offers sponsorship to shuttler PV Sindhu
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials to implement the government's commitment to provide `3 lakh financial aid to all those sports persons who participate in international events.
Rao felicitated badminton player PV Sindhu, who won a bronze medal in the recent world championship, at the Secretariat here.
Rao declared that the TS government would sponsor Sindhu in all her future international events. He said that the government supports all the players of Telangana. Telangana Badminton Association secretary Pullela Gopichand also called on KCR.
