TRS not encouraging defections: KTR
Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Friday dismissed the allegations of opposition parties of Telangana Rashtra Samithi encouraging dissent.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of a workshop on Metropolis held at Administrative Staff College of India here, KTR said that the TRS has sufficient numbers to run the government for the next five years.
Therefore, it does not need to encourage defections to lure the MLAs of opposition parties. He claimed that leaders from other political parties are joining the TRS without any fear or favour.
Stating that TRS would never resort to any unethical means in politics, KTR maintained that the TRS would keep its doors open for anyone who loves Telangana and have a vision for its development. He also denied allegations of TRS being a one-man party.
