ECI to remove duplicate entries in electoral rolls Hyderabad, Sept 25 (INN): The Election Commission of India has issued schedule for conduct of de-duplication campaign by Booth Level Officers during the period from September 26 to October 10 to remove duplicate entries in the electoral rolls by conducting door to door survey to find out dead, duplicate, permanently shifted and missing eligible electors.
In this connection, District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar has informed that all the booth level officers in respect of 3,386 polling stations of 15 Assembly Constituencies of Hyderabad district would be visiting the households of the electors of their respective polling areas along with the lists of duplicates, relevant parts of electoral rolls and requisite quantities of relevant forms during the specified period.
Therefore, all the electors of 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district have been asked to avail this opportunity to verify their names in the electoral rolls and to file their claims and objections, if any.
