Power Holiday from Sept 27 in Telangana
HYDERABAD: After imposing power cuts in Greater Hyderabad limits from Thursday, Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited has now proposed to implement one-day power holiday per week to industrial sector with effect from September 27, in view of the severe shortage of power availability in the State and onset of kharif season.
The district/circle-wise one-day power holiday schedule is: Rangareddy north; Hyderabad north; Hyderabad south and Hyderabad central circles on Mondays, Bollarum industrial area in Medak circle and Rangareddy (East) on Tuesdays.
Mahbubnagar circle (Wednesdays), Medak circle excluding Bollarum industrial area (Thursdays), Nalgonda circle (excluding Bhongir division) on Fridays, Rangareddy south circle (Saturday) and Bhongir division in Nalgonda circle on Sundays.
