KCR's 90 minute speech floored irrigation engineers
Hyderabad : Telangana people got a chance to witness the multifaceted personality of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, as the CM donned the role of a teacher during the Minor Irrigation Department Engineers Meeting held in the city.
From talking about the basics of irrigation department to setting up targets for the engineers, the CM took his audience by storm leaving young and experienced engineers spell bound.
One assistant engineer of the minor irrigation department, who came to attend the meeting from Karimnagar district, told that a sense of de javu prevailed on him when he heard the 90-minute speech of KCR.
'I have never seen any CM with such an in-depth knowledge of irrigation sector and its functions. His speech had a mesmerizing effect on me and reminded me of my favorite teacher during college days,' he said.
Another Assistant Engineer, while terming the CM as visionary, said that KCR would turn the entire State into an agriculture surplus sate in the next five years. He has complete command over the travails and tribulations experienced by the Telangana region during the five-decade-long rule of Andhra leaders,' he said.
An executive engineer who came from Nizamabad district said,'KCR has a great understanding of the problems suffered by our department. This clearly shows his seriousness and caring nature for the department,' he said.
With an objective to bring a sense of responsibility among the engineers, the CM made all the engineers jot down important statistics read out by him about the goals being set up for them in the next five years. Every major announcement of KCR, received a huge round of applause from the audience.
