Kaloji varsity is symbol of self-respect, says Rajaiah Warangal: Deputy chief minister T Rajaiah asserted the Kaloji university of health sciences at Warangal would remain a symbol of self-respect of Telangana people.
Addressing media persons at Warangal, the minister said the decision of chief minister KCR to establish a health university at Warangal has certainly come as a morale booster for the Warangal people and the doctors community of the region.
The minister said the establishment of health varsity would enable the graduate doctors of this region to get identified to the local varsity. He said the Warangal medical college possesses all the prerequisite qualities to become the Centre of medical education.
The minister showered accolades on the chief minister KCR for his bold decision in the declaration of medical varsity at Warangal. He further said the state government was keen on strengthening and decentralizing development in all the regions of the state.
On the new proposals assured to Warangal the minister said the Warangal city was getting a major share in development with the promotion of an industrial corridor from Hyderabad to Warangal in the coming days.
He detailed certain projects pertaining to Textile Apparel park, IT parks and other industries identified for development process. On the issue of politicization of health university establishment by MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga the minister advised to the Madiga leader not to unleash a malicious propaganda on the present government and TRS chief KCR.
"Manda Krishna should take steps to secure categorization of SCs with the aid of Central government " he suggested. The minister later formally declared the establishment of health varsity on KMC campus where the new VC suresh Chanda took over the charge.
