Satya Nadella meets KCR, call Naidu HYDERABAD: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter's camp office here Sunday. During the informal interaction, KCR shared with Nadella details of his proposed industrial policy and government's initiatives to promote industry in general and the IT sector in particular.
KT Rama Rao, IT Minister, who was also present at the meeting, is likely to pay Nadella a visit in the US soon. This is Nadella's first visit to the city after taking over as the Redmond-based IT giant's third CEO in Feb.
Nadella, however, didn't meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Sources in Naidu's office claimed the Microsoft CEO had a telephonic conversation with the Chief Minister. Hyderabad-born Nadella would be addressing employees at the Microsoft India Development Centre at Gachibowli Monday before leaving for Delhi.
Naidu will also be flying to Vizag Monday to launch a first of its kind Startup Village in AP. Hence, it seems unlikely that both will meet this time. Naidu will also meet with CEOs of various companies in Vizag and ink pacts.
