Suhasini had lodged a complaint with the latter Sunday morning stating that her husband hadn't brought her children back.
A suicide note found at Prasad's residence pointed at marital issues for his extreme step. Malkajgiri inspector G Sekhar Goud told Suhasini, in her complaint, said she was married to Prasad in 2004 and that they have two children' Vittal (9) and Nandu (5).
'They had been having disputes for the last two years. She filed a petition in court seeking a divorce. Prasad had also moved the court seeking directions to visit his wife's house to meet his sons on first Saturday of every month. The court had allowed his plea,' the inspector explained. Prasad, it seems, also wrote a brief history of his married life but didn't reveal the whereabouts of his sons.
The Malkajgiri police registered a missing case and formed special teams to trace Vittal and Nandu. However, the teams haven't been successful so far as Guru Prasad hasn't left any clues about their whereabouts.
