'Guru Prasad known for violent behaviour' HYDERABAD: The children of ICFAI professor Guru Prasad, who were brutally killed by their father were deeply attached to him, their maternal uncle Swaroop has said.
Though Guru Prasad visited his children only once a month, they had a deep affection towards their father. 'They would get very excited whenever they met him,'' Swaroop, who was in a deep shock, said. Ironically their life ended by the person they loved the most.
Relatives claimed that Guru Prasad used to be violent in the past. Despite his history, they never thought that he would commit such a barbaric act, said Swaroop. 'He was well known for his violent behaviour. However, we did not expect him to do something as barbaric as killing his own children,' he added.
The disputes between Guruprasad and his wife Suhasini have been continuing since long time, Swaroop said and described the relation between the couple as a bitter one.
Suhasini sought divorce from her husband when the differences between them were on peak. 'They were never happy which is why she wanted a divorce in the first place,' Swaroop said adding, 'The children are always innocent. Today, they lost their lives for no fault of theirs.'
The bodies of the children were shifted from Beerappagudi in Medchal village to Gandhi Hospital in the evening.
