AP Govt to bear medical expenses of injured passengers Hyderabad, Oct 7 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed his condolences over the death of 8 passengers in a tragic road accident in Maharashtra.
The deceased belong to Machilipatnam. Of the total 51 passengers on the bus, nearly 14 people have been injured. Of these, two people need special medical attention.
The Chief Minister said that a special flight would reach Sholapur at 2.30 pm and airlift survivors to Gannavaram.
He assured that the government would bear the medical expenses of the injured passengers. He added that the bodies, if not allowed to be airlifted, would be brought by road to Hyderabad by tonight.
