Harish blames Naidu for power woes of Telangana HYDERABAD: Major irrigation minister T Harish Rao has blamed Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the shortage of electricity in Telangana.
Reacting to the proposed bus yatra by TDP leaders in the state from October 10, Rao said here on Tuesday that the people of Telangana would not trust the yellow party and still perceive it as anti- Telangana.
The minister sought to know from Naidu as how there were numerous power plants in Seemandhra though Telangana, with abundant coal reserves, reeled under severe power crisis.
'Telangana TDP leaders have to stage a dharna outside Naidu's house for not allowing Telangana to get its legitimate share of 53 per cent power from Sileru project,' he said and challenged the TDP leadership to an open discussion.
