Catch up Naidu on youtube, hangout
HYDERABAD: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is well and truly living up to his image of the quintessential tech savvy politician. Taking e-governance and interaction with netizens to the next level, Naidu is going full throttle on the Net ' the CM and the State government now have youtube channels, Facebook pages and Google Plus accounts.
Videos of his programmes have begun to make it to youtube and Naidu is going a step further in the first week of December ' he will hangout with netizens. Sources in the CMO told Naidu's Google hangout won't be a one-off thing. He will hangout once every quarter from thereon. To begin with, one of his seven missions will be the topic of discussion.
In the four months that went by after he took over as CM, the Communications & IT wing has embarked on a series of steps to improve his online presence as well as that of the government.
Naidu is also insisting that each ministry be active on Twitter and Facebook apart from having an own portal. The State portal has also been revamped. Naidu is almost daily, reviewing public perception, as reflected in social media, of himself and the government.
