Missing woman techie traced in EG district
HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old software engineer, Bhavya Sri, who went missing in the city, is said to have been traced in East Godavari district. Police, however, claim that they are still investigating the case.
Bhavya Sri, working as techie for a UK- based firm located at Mind Space in Madhapur here, fell in love with one Kartheek Chaitanya and married him a few years ago.
Cyberabad police said Bhavya Sri left home on Thursday stating that she would be going to the office and sent a text message to her husband. When she did not return home even by 11.30 pm, a worried Chaitanya lodged a complaint with the KPHB police that his wife was missing.
Police formed three teams to trace the woman. Tracking her mobile phone signals, police suspect that she was moving in East Godavari district.
KPHB police quizzed Kartheek Chaitanya as well as Bhavya Sri's parents who are residing at Kukatpally. Bhavya Sri married Chaitanya against her parents' wish.
Locals told the police that the couples have had no disputes. It is also said that Bhavya Sri has not been going to office for a week. A police team visited her office and questioned her colleagues and officials.
