KCR puts administration on alert over cyclone Hyderabad, Oct 11 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has put the State administration on alert in view of very severe cyclonic storm 'Hudhud' which is likely to hit Visakhapatnam coast on Sunday.
The Chief Minister, who is on Delhi visit, had interacted with the senior officials on the status of preparedness over telephone. He said all districts, especially those in north Telangana, should be on alert in view of warning of heavy rainfall under the influence of cyclonic storm. He also directed Revenue Secretary and Disaster Management chief B R Meena to keep him apprised of the latest situation.
